Business Education Spring Workshops

Participants will learn:

  • Details of the California Career Technical Education Standards and Framework
  • Process for developing course outlines and lesson plans incorporating standards-based instruction
  • Tools for developing standards-based lessons

Participants will leave with:

  • Electronic Copy of the CCTE Standards and Framework
  • CAHSEE Highlighted Standards with the Business Foundation Standards
  • Bloom's Taxonomy Materials
  • Standards-Based Lesson Plan and Course Outline Template
  • Sample Standards-Based Lesson Plans
  • Professional Development Certificate including hours
  • Application for participation in the Business Education Summer Institute at Lake Tahoe July 22 - 25

Prerequisites for workshop participation:
To ensure a rich staff development, each participant should bring with them to the workshop:

  • Laptop, PC platform with MS Word software, to the workshop-a must!
  • Course outlines for current teaching assignment (Business Education courses)

College Credit:
The opportunity to earn one unit of credit for the workshop has been arranged through Fresno Pacific
University, and the cost of the credit will be $50.00. Registration will take place at the workshop.
